The Flapper Girl was a twenties phenomenon; a flirty spirit, straight-waist silhouettes and heavy elaborate embellishments.
I love that the female body is hidden yet the silhouettes are feminine; an elegant style but glamorous and fun. Downton Abbey epitomises this whole era and the 1920’s costumes and fashions are styled perfectly.
