I found the Sisley Radiant Glow Express Mask (£73) in my beauty advent calendar which I was super excited about as Sisley is a brand I’ve always wanted to try. It was love at first use.

Sisley Radiant Glow Express Mask

It was only a teeny tiny 10ml sample tube but I’ve rationed it to last a little longer. As an express mask it is intended to give an instant radiance boost, a quick beauty pick-me-up, and oh boy it does just that.

The highly absorbent power of red and white clays, combined with botanical extracts (Carrot, Red Vine and Rose-Hip), and essential oils (Rosemary and Chamomile) helps to get rid of impurities that dull the complexion and very gently deep-cleanse the skin.

I apply while in the bath and leave it on for around 10-15 minutes. I like to think the steam from a hot bath helps the active ingredients work their magic that little bit more, although this is purely made up. After using the Sisley face mask my skin feels squeaky clean, is so soft and hydrated and looks visibly brighter. I can honestly say it is a dream to use.

With quite a thick consistency (think high-end product) and a strong but not unpleasant florally scent, it kind of reminds me of Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream, only they work differently.

Active ingredients:

White Clay: helps to absorb excess sebum
Red Clay: helps to absorb excess sebum
Carrot: revitalizes
Rose hip: tones
Vegetable Glycerin: moisturising
Chamomile (Oil): calms
Rosemary (Oil): purifies
Red Vine: boosts surface microcirculation

The price tag is above what I would pay for a face mask but if you have the budget, I do recommend it.

And on another note….

I also had a sample of Benefit’s POREfessional in my advent calendar, a balm to minimise the appearance of pores. Firstly, I LOVE the consistency – so ridiculously feather lightweight and blends into a matte texture BUT it does absolutely nothing for my pores. I still love to apply it to my t-zone just to feel that softness but it isn’t something I’ll be buying.

I am still loving the BIOEFFECT serum. It is very almost gone and out of my life forever.
