DJ Ginge

  • Your body doesn’t fall into a deep sleep until he’s home at sunrise.
  • He calls playing music in a club work. But you know he loves it.
  • You appreciate a good DJ.
  • You mix songs in your head. And know how to ‘drop in’ but that’s as far as your DJ skills go. Even though he’s been saying for ten years that he’ll teach you one day.
  • Decks take up far too much space in the spare room. Don’t ever put your hats on his turntables either, you’ll be told off!
  • You are critical of your husband’s set but you are incredibly defensive to negative comments from others.
  • You feel proud seeing people move about (read: dance) in a room, to his music. On the rare occasion that you actually go with him….
  • You see, it is highly likely that you are normally tucked up in bed with a face mask and green tea before his set even starts.
  • You’re his biggest fan.
  • Music is a part of your life. Sofa parties become the norm.
  • Random girls will flirt with him. That’s okay, he still comes home to you.
  • You won’t know what city he is in but you can probably find out by Twitter or Facebook.
  • If he balances a full time office job AND he is a DJ, you will have to schedule in ‘wife time’…. but remember…
  • Your Sunday is always a write off.
