I like wearing white in Winter, it’s kind of princess-like.
I’m not a professional blogger and definitely not a fashion blogger. Which means I don’t use an impressive set up of camera equipment and lights, in fact, my ‘good’ camera is never used for blog photos unless I am on holiday. So I always feel a little apprehensive about posting outfit looks when the iPhone quality and Instagram filter means they look rather amateur.
But I do love to post blogs and I do love clothes. So, I’m going with it and will follow my own rules in terms of what I post and how I post it.
Here goes…
- I wore this cute gold sequin crop top from ASOS with my Zara white culottes for Christmas day. I love gold sequins with white, it’s kind of princess-like; twenty-something grown-up glamour.
- There are those Zara culottes again, I’ve seriously worn them more times than I can remember. I took them from Summer to Winter with ankle boots, again from Zara, and a black faux fur jacket. Culottes make me look somewhat polished, I love them regardless of the season.
- Those white trousers are from, yes, you’ve got it, Zara… let’s just talk about the jacket. I found this gorgeous off-white faux-fur vintage coat in a charity shop for £9.99. I’ve worn it a lot over the festive period which often happens when there’s a new addition in my wardrobe, it becomes the new exciting thing to repeatedly wear day in, day out. It’s a size bigger than I would normally go for but I love how big and snuggly it is! I really think charity shops are missing out on so many opportunities when it comes to genuine vintage items. I bought this jacket for £9.99 but on well-known vintage websites it would have cost at least £50, yet they’ll price a Topshop jacket at £15. It’s utter madness, really it is.
