I’m 28 now and my skin needs attention.

Let me just fill you in on something that happened last weekend at Parklife festival. There I was asking the young looking girl (probably early twenties) at the bar for a vodka, lemon and lime. She refused to serve me as I looked underage and had no ID on me. The kind guy next to me offered to buy it but she still refused on the grounds that I was underage. I returned with said ID. She studied it and asked me far too many questions as if I had borrowed an ID from an older friend. She thought I looked young, I forgive her.

But what happened next? Remember the guy standing next to me who offered to buy the drink? Well he was still there and didn’t believe I am, in fact, 28 years old. He asked me to take my sunglasses off to which he replied: Oh, yes, you are old, your eyes look old.

Korres Wild Rose Eye Cream with SPF review

So here we are today.

I already knew my eyes were looking a little tired which is why I started using the Korres Wild Rose Eye Cream about a month ago. Subconsciously I always add rose-based beauty products to my basket, there is just something about that fresh florally scent. The Korres Wild Rose Eye Cream hydrates and brightens while smoothing fine lines and dark circles. I would say it’s medium thickness for an eye cream but is still moisturising and leaves my eye area visibly brighter. Unfortunately I have dark eyes anyway, especially in the corner, so nothing will magically eradicate the colouring but they appear brighter.

When I started using the product I could actually feel it tightening my eye area, particularly towards the corners where I have a few lines. I loved that feeling as I knew it was working but now I think my skin is so used to it, it just goes on and does the job.

Formulated with wild rose oil makes it rich in Vitamin C for extra nourishment and the scent is perfectly pleasant. It also has a SPF of 15!

I’ve incorporated the eye cream into my evening beauty routine, applying around my eyes and towards the corners by kind of patting it into my skin rather than rubbing it. I think this is a little kinder on the delicate under eye area, which I am treating with tender loving care.

I’ll finish the tube but I think I’m ready for a thicker eye cream already.

You can buy the Korres Wild Rose Eye Cream from ASOS for £20.

And in case you are interested, the eye cream is full of no nasties. Korres are a kind bunch, only using skin- and environmentally-friendly ingredients for their organic range.
