Beauty Review – Rosa Bath Bar

I wrote the below beauty review for Cambridgeshire’s Agenda magazine (link) which you will find in the January 12 issue.

Aubrey’s Rosa Mosqueta luxurious bath bar is simply divine and offers something a little different than the ordinary bar of soap. The sweet scent of roses is quite strong but not too overpowering; fresh, floral and incredibly feminine. Packed full of goodness (Organic Rosa Mosqueta Oil and Borage oil), this all-natural bar is perfect for all skin types as it’s very kind to the skin, lathering to a light foam that moisturises gently and left my skin soft to touch. My only qualm is the bland and quite dated packaging – but it’s what’s inside that counts, right?

I can’t find this specific bath bar on the Aubrey Organics website (link) but they do have a selection of other natural, yummy products.

My Golden Choice

Elle Macpherson

I had today booked off work so it was only right that I stayed up late and snuggled on the sofa watching the Golden Globes.  I love the drama, the excitement and squealing at all the beautiful gowns on display.  I loved Sofia Vergara in the midnight blue, figure hugging mermaid style Vera Wang dress. Salma Hayek looked incredible in the black and gold Gucci dress while I LOVED the shape of Lea Michele’s Marchesa dress – figure hugging & sexy but stylish.

My fave has to be Elle Macpherson (pictured above) not just for the beautiful Zac Posen design but because she radiates with beauty, health and happiness and to top it off, when asked her favorite body part, Elle replied: My heart.  Unbelievably stunning.

A little bit of heaven in a bath – Jo Malone’s Red Roses Bath Oil

Jo Malone’s Red Rose Bath Oil is absolutely amazing and definitely my weakness when it comes to a relaxing bath. You only need to use a few drops at a time, so it can be used sparingly and lasts quite a long time.

Oh my gosh, the scent. Made up of seven types of roses, the fragrance is beautifully feminine, floral and relaxing, ideal for a Sunday morning bath with candles and a good book.

What’s more, the oil is incredible moisturising and delicate on my sensitive skin. The perfect bath experience.

For £38 it is a little on the pricey side but completely worth it as a little treat or as a gift for someone else.
