Smoothie bowls make me happy, especially when they are all bright and gorgeous. I always make far too much and end up saving them in the fridge until they need throwing out but, you know, they are super easy to make and packed with goodness.

PS. Sorry for throwing food out, I’ll try better in future.


  • 1 large mango
  • Handful frozen mango
  • Almond milk (the amount you use depends on the desired consistency)
  • 2 small bananas
  • Toppings: granola and blueberries

Simply throw all ingredients into the blender, press the button and watch it whirl into goodness. Rocket science, hey? I do let frozen fruit defrost a little before using it so it’s not so cold and harsh on the blender.

Then I pore into a bowl and sprinkle the toppings on.

It’s cute, healthy and it’s fun.
